Riding a rollercoaster is a persistent experience of doing something apperently dangerous in a safe way, overcoming one's inhibitions.
Rollercoaster structures are loaded by moving, instationary loads.
Hence, apart from ultimate limit state analyses, also durability and material fatigue have to be considered in the design of all parts of the structure.
